Where the numbers come from
The grade tools run on the raw-mark boundaries AQA, Edexcel and OCR published for the June 2025 series, transcribed from the awarding bodies’ own documents. Most calculators online estimate a percentage for each grade instead, which is wrong by a wide margin in plenty of subjects. Boundaries move every year, so treat last summer’s as the best available guide rather than a promise about next summer.
Looking for an answer in words rather than numbers? The advice section covers grades, exam rules, revision and results day. If you would rather have it on paper, the printables are the same jobs as blank sheets you can print and write on.
